The "Born Junmai 55," also known as "Junmai 55," is made using "Yamada Nishiki" as the koji rice and "Gohyakumangoku" as the kake rice. Both are polished together to a 55% ratio, which gives rise to the name of this sake. However, using 100% "Gohyakumangoku" rice alone does not achieve the unique flavor of this sake. By adding "Yamada Nishiki" as the koji rice, the taste of "Gohyakumangoku" becomes richer and fuller. This is the secret to the flavor of "Born Junmai 55." It has a fresh, rich, and robust aroma, with a light and profound taste, offering excellent flavors. When heated, the acidity deepens, and the flavors become even more pronounced.

It has received several awards, including the Gold Award in the "Junmai Division" at the "KURA MASTER 2022" and the Gold Award at the "The Fine SAKE Award, Japan 2023." It has also been recognized at various international competitions such as the "Australian Sake Awards 2022," the "International Wine Challenge 2021," the "SAKEChina World Sake Competition 2020," and the "U.S. National Sake Appraisal."
