Description

This junmai ginjo sake focuses on using rice from Fukushima prefecture and is finished with no filtration or added water to highlight its flavor. It has a rich and full-bodied texture, a moderate and refreshing taste, a clean impression, and a refreshing acidity that leaves a pleasant and not overpowering feeling.

The origin of "Shizengo" dates back to the fourth generation of Oki Daikichi, who pursued the traditional method of brewing sake using only rice. The brewery signed contracts with local farmers to use pesticide-free rice, which was rare at the time, for brewing. In 1974, to express gratitude for the abundant nature of Yabuki, they launched a product called "No Additive Sake - Shizengo."

SAKE COMPETITION 2019, Platinum Award winner in the junmai ginjo category.
