Description

Due to the use of No. 9 yeast, this sake exudes a soft yet magnificent aroma that is unassuming but very charming.

This sake carries a banana fragrance... even weeks after opening, one can still sense the surprising banana aroma. It has a rich taste when first consumed, with a transition from sweetness to bitterness. It is a dry sake that pairs perfectly with various Japanese dishes and can be enjoyed whether served cold or hot.

Despite having a high polishing rate of 90%, this sake still maintains a refreshing and balanced mouthfeel. It challenges all possibilities of Kamenoo, a naturally cultivated rice by Mr. Ryosuke Takahashi from Hakone City, Iwate Prefecture. It utilizes the strong core for brewing Kimoto, fermenting slowly at low temperatures.

What does “KK9K” mean? “KK9K” is a name derived from the initial letters of “K Kimoto,” “K Kamenoo,” “No. 9 Yeast,” and “K Karakuchi.”
