Description

This sake has a fresh aroma reminiscent of grapes, and the sweetness of the rice brings to mind spring, glamorous yet not too heavy. It has a soft and gentle mouthfeel, making it an easy-to-drink and refreshing sake even for those who do not frequently drink. To preserve the deliciousness and alcohol produced by the invisible yeast in Obama's Fukuzawa, the brewmaster waits for the sediment to settle in the sake and then bottles it without filtration.

Using the yeast "FK-801C" developed by the research institute in Fukui Prefecture, this sake is made by carefully selecting the sake-appropriate "Yamada Nishiki" rice produced in Miyakawa, Obama City, and polishing it to 38% to become a Junmai Daiginjo sake.

This sake is brewed using groundwater from Nangawa in Obama City.

The label design was inspired by the previous "Daiginjo Wakasa" and was created by a female student from Wakasa High School. She expressed her desire to work in design in the future. Her idea that "cooked rice looks like sparkling jewels" became the basis for the design, which was refined to become the perfect label for the highest grade "Wakasa" sake produced in Fukui.
