Description


It has a strong koji aroma when smelled, but upon tasting, a rich sweetness quickly spreads, followed closely by acidity. You can also sense a subtle woody fragrance. Due to the finely polished rice and slight effervescence, these flavors are delicately conveyed and released. Although overall it leans towards sweetness, the aftertaste is very enjoyable.

This is one of the products specially distributed at the Aramasa Shuzo 2017 Special Distribution Association in Akita Prefecture. It adopts brewing methods from the Genroku era, characterized by a higher proportion of koji and a smaller amount of water used, resulting in a quite rich sake quality.
