This sake is characterized by its light, lively, rich fruity aroma, and juicy taste.

The taste carries a hint of aloe and grape acidity, with a clear and smooth sweetness emerging. The aftertaste is slightly bitter, with a fresh and green astringency, making it very refreshing and pleasant. Even when enjoyed chilled or slightly closer to room temperature, you can still savor the delightful sweetness.

A brand-new brew using 100% Miyama Nishiki rice!

The new product, Kougeigiku Mikumo, from the prestigious Kikuka Brewery, features Miyama Nishiki rice for the first time. In recent years, due to factors such as reduced production, obtaining this rice variety has become challenging. However, on this auspicious occasion, we were able to use Miyama Nishiki. Miyama Nishiki is an excellent sake rice variety, ranking alongside Yamada Nishiki and Hattan Nishiki.

The name Mikumo is inspired by the gracefully beautiful clouds floating beside the moon.
