Although it doesn't have the taste of Pinot Noir, you can still sense the influence of French oak barrels, perhaps due to the oak barrel aging. Overall, compared to Burgundy, it resembles more like a refreshing Loire natural wine for the cooler season. This red wine is indeed suitable for Japanese autumn ingredients, offering a warm and delicious flavor.

It pairs well with food, particularly lighter meat dishes or cheese.

Domaine Kakuto is managed by the disciples of Sato Souichi, the father of the Sato family. Domaine Akio is managed by Akio Sato and his disciples. The wines from these two domains are blended together. The 2020 vintage, although not particularly rich, possesses a fresh acidity and captivating aroma. It has a flavorful profile, including some sweetness.
