Description

The hallmark of Yamawa-style is its refreshing aroma and clear taste. Its delicious acidity and delicate flavor enhance the taste of various dishes. This sake follows the Yamawa Sake Brewery's theme of "Simple is Best," pursuing simplicity in the brewing process.

The hallmark of Haginotsuru-style is its fresh apple-like aroma, light sweetness from the rice, and elegant acidity, all perfectly harmonized. The deliciousness of this sake is like its bottle design, refreshing and easy to drink.

"DATE SEVEN" is a joint brewing project of seven sake breweries in Miyagi Prefecture (Katsuyama, Urakasumi, Bishonen, Hakuraku-sta, Yamawa, Haginotsuru, and Koganesawa). They aim to improve the quality of sake through technical exchange and competition.

In "Season 2," the flagship brewing facilities will use the same rice and polishing ratio to pursue their unique, characteristic flavors. By using the same specifications in brewing, the flagship breweries will compete with each other to improve quality while pursuing their own brewing art.

For this brewing cycle, the participating breweries are Yamawa and Haginotsuru. They polished the highest quality Hyogo-produced "Yamada Nishiki" rice to 47% and brewed it in collaboration among seven sake breweries. They are promoting high-quality Miyagi sake throughout Japan and around the world.

This "episode 2" is designed with inspiration from animation and manga in Japanese culture.

In the "Haginotsuru-style," the unique illustrations of each brewery in a cute cartoon style surround the DATE SEVEN logo. It creates a distinct contrast with the concurrently released "Yamawa-style," differing not only in design but also in taste. We recommend trying both to experience and enjoy different flavors.
