Description

The aroma of this sake's first impression resembles grapefruit with a slight citrus flavor, reminiscent of the delicate flavors of watermelon and green melon. Upon tasting, the flavor is naturally smooth, emanating a delicate freshness from its mild acidity, along with light, sweet melon notes. Alongside its sweet and smooth texture, the taste is rich and complex. The aftertaste is refreshing and pleasant, with hints of citrus acidity and a woody barrel impression. This typical "shinshu" sake presents a clear mouthfeel with an overall impression of slight yellow color and a calm and leisurely ambiance.

"A-Type" is a sake brand from "Shinsei Sake Brewery", with "A" representing the brand name "Aramasa". From the source of the sixth yeast strain, on June 6th (known as Shinsei day), this impressive sake bottle and its rice, which has an artisanal milling ratio of 66%, were released.
